Growth: Liberia recorded its eighth consecutive year of post-war economic growth in 2011,supported by foreign direct investment (FDI) increasing rapidly since 2006. The future is fueled by international (global) business, and we, along with the world, are focusing on Agriculture-food processing; Information Technology-hardware and software; Finance to support micro financing and commercial development lending. Real GDP is estimated to have grown by 6.9% in 2011, and is projected to be 8.8% in 2012 making it one of the top-10 fastest growing economies in the world in 2012. The West remains a major contributor for developing countries, while China has increased it's investments in the country.
